Hi, It’s February, which is basically chocolate season, which is basically the happiest month ever. February means Valentines Day, which is basically just an excuse to eat chocolate. Let’s be honest…Valentines Day=National Eat Chocolate Day. Anyways, I love creating chocolates for Valentines Day and pretty much everyday, but it’s definitely a great excuse to make them super beautiful and make lots for all your loved ones.
So, I decided it was time for me to get a recipe roundup together of some of my FAVORITE chocolate recipes…plus a few others. I make lots of chocolate things because I love chocolate and carob and all the yummy yummy things. Plus, chocolate is healthy! When it’s made with love and beautiful ingredients that is!
Valentines Day is basically here and we got you covered with a ton of ridiculously amazing recipes that are perfect to make for your loved ones, lover, or… YOURSELF! Foreal though…let’s show some self love by making ourselves some decadent desserts and treats too!
First up, the two amazing chocolate recipes that I just posted this week.
These chocolate truffles are insanely delicious and totally satisfying with that perfectly decadent texture!
Then we have this crunchy, sweet, and salty creation that is perfect for when you need a little bit of crunch to cure your craving. This is satisfying, but oh so addicting.
We definitely can’t forget about the endless amount of opportunities that lie in creating chocolate bark. Here are four ways that I am totally wild about.
These Reese’s cups have been one of the most popular recipes on the blog, so they had to make it in to the recipe roundup. They are super easy and totally delicious!
This is one of my all time favorite recipes that I constantly go back to. Definitely make this cookie dough, your taste buds will thank you!
I also just recommended browsing the dessert section of the blog…I gotta say there’s some high quality sweetness on there!
Other bloggers that be killin’ it!
My New Roots with these heart shaped ‘rawlos’ that are gorgeous and sooo delicious. Now, if only I can figure out what I have done with my heart molds from last year….
I love Nutrition Stripped for so many reasons…and these raw chocolate beauties are straight perfection.
Then we have a girl that speaks straight to my heart. Sarah from Primal Bites is all about sustainability, self love, and is an all-around girl boss. I love this White Chocolate Cherry Fudge recipe that she created!
There you have it…these are my go-to recipes for the perfect Valentine’s Day. Who wants store bought chocolate and roses, not this gal! There’s so much more heart and love felt when you get something homemade. That truly speaks to the heart.
Whether you are single, married, in a serious relationship, or just being super playful, I truly hope you have an amazing weekend and a fantastic Valentine’s Day! A lot of people don’t like this day if they aren’t in a relationship or see it as silly either way. However, I feel that it is a great reminder and day to celebrate love. That means self-love, romantic love, family love, and just having love and empathy for the people around you. So, smile to a stranger and give out some hugs…everyone deserves to feel loved! 🙂
Awww Blair you’re the sweetest! Thanks for including me in your roundup 🙂
