CARDAMOM ROSE ELIXIR
There’s nothing better than slow mornings that are filled with warming, grounding, and nurturing food and drinks. I used Mooala to create two amazing recipes that are supportive to your body, especially during menstruation, which is important to note if you are into cycle syncing like me! The Cardamom Rose Elixir and Muesli are your new favorite breakfast eats and drinks!

If you’ve never heard of Mooala, they are an awesome plant milk company that is brand new to the Denver area. I love that they create milks that are nut free, grain free, and seed free, depending on your personal preferences. Plus they are organic, which is really important to me for sustainability and health reasons. Speaking of sustainability, Mooala gives back to non-profit organizations that help build up impoverished communities. This is huge to me and something that I think more companies need to take initiative on.
I am personally loving the Organic Bananamilk and Coconut Oatmilk. Both are available locally in Denver at Whole Foods and Safeway as well as other retailers nationwide.

For the first recipe I created, The Rose Elixir, you can use either the Oatmilk or the Bananamilk. Another reason I love the Oatmilk, is because I think oats can be very grounding during your menstrual cycle… combine that with the nourishment and love in rose and you’ve got a killer combo!

Cardamom Rose Elixir
Ingredients
- 16 oz. Mooala Oatmilk (or Bananamilk)
- 2 rose tea bags ( I love Organic India)
- 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
- 1 tsp manuka honey
Instructions
Heat Mooala milk of choice until boiling.
Place the two tea bags into the milk and let steep for 10 minutes.
Next, add in the cardamom and honey.
Whisk or blend together and enjoy!

The second recipe I am loving with Mooala is this delicious seed cycling muesli! This one is also tailored to your menstrual cycle and is so delicious served with Mooala Oatmilk or Bananamilk, or a cooled (or heated) Cardamom Rose Elixir.

Seed Cycling Muesli
- Yield: 2–3 servings 1x
Ingredients
- 1 cup gluten free rolled oats
- 2 T flax seeds, whole
- 2 T flax seeds, ground
- 1/2 cup coconut flakes, toasted
- 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
- 1/2 cup freeze dried strawberries
Instructions
Combine all ingredients together.
Serve with Mooala Bananamilk or Oatmilk, OR Cardamom Rose Elixir.
This can be served hot or cold!

I love that both of these recipes can be served warm or cold depending on your mood or the weather! Enjoy!
