Hello lovely lovely people! I apologize for the lack of foodie posts, but I have been taking some time off of social media and the computer to spend quality time with myself, my loved ones, and the great outdoors! During this time, I have been eating delicious, healthy foods and thinking about all of the delicious meals that I want to share with you all.
I have also been doing a lot of soul searching and thinking about love and loss and the ways that we cope with these issues. I wanted to reiterate how important our Manifestation Monday posts are for nurturing your soul. We focus on food in a holistic sense and being active, but we also put a huge emphasis on our spiritual and emotional health here at holistic rendezvous. This is how you truly live a healthy, balanced life with true health.
Maybe you pay attention to the food you put in your mouth and on your plate. Maybe you spend an hour at the gym every day to keep you healthy. But, do you nurture your relationships with the same care? Do you make sure to surround yourself with people who love you as much as you love them?
We love all of you immensely and are so happy that you visit HR to get tips on life, love, food, fitness, relationships, and the like! So now…to today’s recipe!
Sustainability Sunday Recipe!
This weeks recipe is a super simple recipe that I love to use when I’m in a rush and want to pack a meal with vegetables, healthy proteins, healthy fats and a lot of flavor!
This meal is a paleo bison and vegetable sauté that can be modified to your liking!
Recipe:
- Grass-fed bison
- mixed greens/ spinach, kale, greens of choice
- onions/garlic
- red pepper
- carrots/ parsnips
- coarse ground mustard
Directions:
- Dice onions, peppers, and parsnips
- Sautee onions, peppers, and parsnips then add in bison
- Cook until bison is close to being done and continually add in your greens of choice. As it cooks it will shrink, so you can load in TONS of greens.
- Lastly, add in your coarse ground mustard to taste and enjoy!
This is a very malleable recipe, so mix it up and let us know what you think!
