Ginger Garlic Paste aka your new culinary best friend!
This ginger garlic paste is an Indian recipe that can be used anytime you want to add a huge pop of flavor and a major anti-inflammatory and immune boost! It is an extremely concentrated flavor, so you only need a little bit to season a dish!
I’ve added this to awesome Indian dishes like Aloo Gobi (look forward to this recipe in the future) and even added it to scrambled eggs! Get creative and keep this in your refrigerator to add BIG flavor to your meals.
Garlic and Ginger
Many of us know that ginger and garlic have tons of health benefits, like reducing inflammation and building our immune function, so by putting them into this extremely dense paste, you are able to access them easily! The only other ingredient is avocado oil, as opposed to the traditional canola oil! This is a huge upgrade because avocado oil is filled with beneficial fatty acids as opposed to canola oil, which is a stressor on the liver!
Adding other spices is a great way to make it your own, like I did above! You can also see how easy this is to whip up into a thick sauce by adding water and cooking whatever your heart desires into it! You could even add this to tahini to make a quick dressing!
Okay, lets get onto this super easy recipe that you’re going to want to keep on hand!
- 2 large heads garlic, peeled
- ⅓ cup ginger, peeled
- 3 T avocado oil
- himalayan pink sea salt (to taste)
- Blend together until pretty smooth!
