Fig and Rose Petal Jam
  • ½ cup dried figs
  • ½ cup dried rose petals
  • ¼ cup coconut sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp gelatin
  • 3 cups water
  • pinch himalayan pink sea salt
  1. Chop the dried figs into small pieces.
  2. In a small pot, combine the chopped figs, lemon juice and 1.5 cups water. Allow this to simmer for around 30 minutes or until the figs are nice and soft.
  3. Next, add in the rose petals and coconut sugar. Allow this to simmer for 10-15 minutes. The mixture should be slightly sticky/thicken.
  4. Allow the gelatin to bloom in ½ cup of cold water for 1-2 minutes, then pour into the warm mixture. Stir well and then place in a jar to be consumed!
  5. Consume within a week or freeze!
