Remember those caramel dips that you would buy to dip apples in? Well, unlike those caramel dips, this caramel dip is made of whole food ingredients and sweetened with solely DATES!
Caramels can be super sweet, but this one is just the right amount of sweet and salty. Plus, it has healthy fats in it and even a little protein from almond butter, so your blood sugar won’t be spiking after eating this!
You can use this caramel to make candies..hint hint! You can also eat it with apples or just brab a spoonful when you have a sweet tooth!
- 6 soaked dates
- 2 tbsps date water
- 2 tbsps almond butter
- 1 tbsp ghee or coconut oil
- salt to taste!
- Combine all ingredients and blend until smooth!
- To make this more liquidy, add in more coconut oil or ghee!
- To make it thicker you could add in some gelatin!
