I love a good dip for some fresh vegetables or even a delicious sprouted bread! This dip is so versatile and absolutely delicious! Plus it is packed with brain and heart healthy fats from walnuts and amps up any meal. It is perfect as a snack or as a filling addition to a light salad meal!
In this recipe I used fresh garlic from my local farm to table box and parsley from my garden. Garlic and parsley have so many amazing benefits, so adding them to your dip gives a major nutritional/ immunity boost.
**BLAIR FACT: I actually try to eat a couple cloves of raw garlic a day (at night so people aren’t dealing with my garlic breath?) to increase my immunity and decrease my risk of osteoarthritis, heart disease, and cancer, while also normalizing my cholesterol!
- 1 cup walnuts
- 1/4 cup cold pressed olive oil
- 1 tsp sea salt
- **optional: garlic and parsley
- Puree walnuts, olive oil, and sea salt together to your desired consistency. I like to leave a couple walnut chunks!
- If you wish, add your additional ingredients. For instance, I added freshly chopped garlic and parsley!
