Have you heard of Superfood Tabs? I have seen reviews and for these tabs all over amazon and social media, so I gave them a try. Today’s blog post is sponsored by Superfoods Company and I am talking about these tabs and sharing my thoughts and opinion!
Superfood Tabs were formerly known as Skinny Tabs and I am very happy with the change in marketing. If you have been following me for a while, then you know that I am not fond of hyper weight loss marketing and prefer to focus on health benefits. Strong and healthy over skinny you guys!
Anyways, I was approached to try Superood Tabs for myself and write a review blog post. I was interested in trying because I like that the tabs are effervescent and contain some pretty cool ingredients! I personally love anything effervescent and find that it helps me not mindlessly eat. However, if I am actually hungry, a snack will be my top choice since hunger typically indicates a drop in blood sugar and you actually need food to keep your hormones humming properly!
I was happy to see that the products are sugar free, gluten free, non-GMO, keto friendly, and vegan. It also contains a bunch of powerful ingredients that are studied for their positive benefits, including: Elderberry Extract, Beetroot, Green Tea Leaf Extract (40mg caffeine), Matcha Tea Leaf, Burdock Root Extract, Ginger Root Extract, Dandelion Extract, Lemon Balm Extract, Milk Thistle Seed Extract, Asian Ginseng Root, Goji Berry Fruit, Pomegranate Fruit, Aloe Vera Powder, Wheatgrass, Chlorella Algae.
Many of these ingredients are herbs that I use specifically for liver support such as burdock, ginger, dandelion, milk thistle, and lemon balm. When we are focusing on detox, it is important to support the liver, so I love that these herbs are included.
I do think that it is important to note that green tea and matcha are included, which have many health benefits, but also contain caffeine. If you are super sensitive to caffeine, this is something to be aware of. But also note that it is less than a cup of coffee and coming from green tea. However, it is enough caffeine to give a boost of energy if you are needing a little extra during the day!
Obviously, the fact that these are convenient and easy to take on the go is a huge plus! If you have tried these Superfood Tabs, comment below and let me know your thoughts!
