I love Christmas time because it leads to huge family gatherings and time with my sister. That bitch decided to live all the way across the country from me :(. Anyways, she loves food just as much as I do, so we spend a lot of time sharing recipes. We got to make her delicious vegetable frittata with Cilantro Chile Sauce over the holiday and I had to share this sauce recipe with you!
I love using this recipe in fiesta bowls because it adds just the right amount of heat and herbaceous deliciousness. I love making a fiesta bowl with romaine lettuce, organic corn, cilantro, green onions, black beans, tomato, and a vegan cheese sauce!
However, it also goes really well with well, just about anything! I think it’s phenomenal to spread on bread, marinade chicken with, or serve on grilled skewered shrimp.
This sauce only gets better with time, so the large amount the recipe produces will not go to waste! As I said, we can all thank my lovely sister for this recipe, so go show her some love and maybe try out her Veggie Frittata, which this obviously goes great with. She is a true food magician!
